In the period during May 20-21, 2015, Uricon Group Company participated in the Cultural and business mission of St. Petersburg in the Kaluga Region, as part of the Cluster of Medical, Environmental Instrumentation and Biotechnology.

The official delegation of St. Petersburg was headed by the Chairman of the Committee for Industrial Policy and Innovations of St. Petersburg, M.S. Meiksin. It consisted of representatives of the executive authorities, educational and cultural institutions, and the business community of St. Petersburg.

On May 20, an official meeting in expanded format of M.S. Meiksin with the Minister of Industry and Small Business of the Kaluga Region V.E. Stroganov took place. During the meeting, issues of bilateral cooperation in the areas of industrial cooperation, support for entrepreneurship, exchange of experience in implementing cluster policy, primarily in the pharmaceutical and IT industry, as well as the need to establish information exchange on import substitution and creating conditions to stimulate demand for domestic goods were discussed. M.S. Meiksin expressed interest in increasing direct supplies of Kaluga products to the St. Petersburg market and in activating exhibition activities. Separately, the parties recognized the important interaction between Cluster of Medical, Environmental Instrumentation and Biotechnology NP of St. Petersburg and Kaluga Pharmaceutical Cluster NP.

The program of the cultural and business mission of St. Petersburg included presentation of the industrial and investment potential of St. Petersburg and the Kaluga Region, industry round tables on the development of industry, entrepreneurship and tourism, a round table with representatives of medical institutions of the region and residents of Cluster of Medical, Environmental Instrumentation and Biotechnology NP.
